I am an NCTJ-qualified journalist and have worked in the industry for more than 15 years. Having found my feet at a local level, at The News in Portsmouth, I moved to BNPS press agency in Dorset, which predominately covers the south coast of England for the national media. In 2009, I won second place for News Story Of The Year at the National Association Of Press Agencies' Awards. I later moved into showbiz, first as senior writer at Reveal magazine and then as deputy launch editor of Reveal.co.uk. 

 

I now write for all the national newspapers and women's weekly market, both in print and online, covering news, showbiz and real life. I also write for professional industry magazines, such as the National Hair & Beauty Federation's Salonfocus, and am an experienced 'talking head', appearing on Entertainment Tonight, BBC News, Viva's Suck My Pop and Dublin's 98FM. I regularly live blog for The Sun Online, with some blogs reaching 75,000 page views in just a few hours.
